After hosting the 2023 World Rowing Indoor Championships, and CIRC for 39 continuous years the organizing committee behind the championships is taking a pause. The Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships will return to the GTA in the winter of 2025.
The date for CIRC is Sunday February 9, 2025.
We are putting our efforts into the search for a “permanent venue” to host CIRC in the years to come as well as working with both provincial and national rowing partners to establish a shared calendar of indoor racing competitions in 2025. Our vision to have a true national championship in Canada for indoor rowing bringing together the best performances of the season to a final crowning of champions. We also plan to mix it up a bit, with new events, new distances and different categories for some exciting racing.
